Usefull Software for mobile devices etc
Iv had my T-mobile MDA Vario III of a few days now and have had a lot of fun installing software, themes and general rubbish onto it.
Iv tried a lot of everything but just wanted to see what else is out there, so figured id make this thread for everyone to swop usefull links, software, .cabs & phone friendly kit! On my Vario III i have: Duttys Wm6.1. very similar to the t-mobile software but without the branding and seems a bit quicker. Also has a few usefull aditions [Apr 16] Dutty's WM6.1 5.2.19209 Release [User Guide & ChangeLog in Post 2] UPDATED - xda-developers Google maps - a must have, doesnt quite fit the 'satnav' bill due to it not routing you directly (as in plotting/recalculating a route then giving you step by step directions as you drive) but usefull none the less. Mobile Theme pack - has a good dozen+ in there and some very smart ones (vista theme!) 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download WM6 Themes.zip Opera 8, better browser then IE iv found and seems quicker aswell. Shame you have to pay once the 30 day trial is up. Opera Mobile download Also found this site very usefull for downloads, i usually see what programs are most popular and then give those a go. ..:: Dutty's Beta Area ::.. Anyone else have any recommendations? |

WMWifiRouter - Welcome
Turn your Windows Mobile device into a wireless router. So you can sit in a pub/coffee shop/park and share your (unlimited) 3G connection with your friends ![]() from Modaco: WMWifiRouter turns your WM device into a WiFi, er, Router! - MoDaCo (I haven't tried this yet, but a friend of mine has used this with someone elses phone. He was working for a startup and they all decided to go to the pub... and took their work with them) |
