No! It just allows you to change the bootloader on the phone to allow custom apps, etc to be installed.

what apps? can't you install anything within it by the terminal if its mac osx on there or did they disable that i take it...

Are you still believeing the idiot that is Steve Jobs when he said the iPhone was running OSX?

The iPhone is crippled to only allow you to install apps through iTunes. When it was first released you couldn't even do that. if you Jailbreak the iPhone then you can install any apps.

There have been a couple of ways to jailbreak them, this really low level way has previously been OSX only, this is just a Windows version.

so what is it running and no i HATE the iphone hence why that was the last piece of info i knew of it after the lack of 3g and overpricing it was like f*** that... my xda2 does more outta the box and thats like 8years old lmao

ziphone and liberty+ does the same thing for mac and windows but pwnage supposedly jailbroke and unlocked the upcoming version 2

They run the iPhone OS. It is based on the same Mach kernel and Darwin core as the full blown OSX, but that doesn't make it OSX. You can't run Mac apps on an iPhone for example.
