It's the HTC audio app I use too.

How about trying MediaPlayer? Or one of the other media players you can get. Might be worth a shot.

It's never been enough of a problem for me to experiment with other players.

I like the HTC app a bit to much to abandon it in favor for another app... You tried out any new roms recently? I like the look of ROMeOS v3... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406346

The phone I have now is so rubbish it's not even worth mentioning on these boards.

I will be packing a iPhone 3g soon though when it's released .

Obviously depends what your using it for, but general day to day, texting. calls etc, the odd pic and a bit of Web browsing saw mine lasting 3/4 days.

    N95 (graphite) unlocked.

Generally all good. Camera is fantastic. GPS takes AGES to log onto satelites for a usable signal.

Samsung D900, the best phone I've ever had although bored of it looking to now change to a new network, or get it unlocked and do an 02 sim only deal.

My dad just got it and seem like a good phone. The touchscreen works better than I expected with my sausage fingers. There is an issue where you can only use 2 GB cards (officially that is, there are ways of using 8GB cards). It doesn't have built in GPS like N95 does so if you're planning on using that you'll have to get a separate GPS dondle.

Anyhow my current phone is SE W850, always have had a dodgy battery indicator and battery now playing up after 12 or so months. Also had to get it repaired once, however, took less than 3 days with Three.
