I'm really kicking myself over this phone.

Wouldn't you know that I'd just renewed my contract and recieved an XDA Orbit 2 just before the Diamond was announced.
I'll have to wait 18 months to get one now

I know if only I'd waited, but that's technology for you.

You buy something one day and it's out of date the day after

    Sweet!

Been out of the loop for the last few days, so I've missed this one. Shame I have another year in my Vario III contract. But them I'm guessing the Vario V will be on the slate by that point.

The Vario IV is a Touch Pro I wonder how long it will take for O2 to offer it. Would be an uber upgrade from lugging around my HTC Wizard and GPS receiver.

Seen that O2 will be offering the HTC Touch Diamond, will be getting it as they've kept it looking like the HTC model, whereas apparently T-Mobile's design is an exclusive one.

Windows Mobile devices generally don't do Java.

They don't come with Java as standard though do they?

As in, Windows Mobile doesn't have a Java environment as standard, but operators, device manufacturers or users can add one if they please.
