No more iPhones in the UK
![]() iPhone Page Tariff Splash O2 and Apple generating some hype by removing it from sale? I'm sure a full story will appear in good time on the main page ![]() (From Engadget: iPhone is good and done in the UK -- until the 3G version, anyway - Engadget) |

Re: No more iPhones in the UK
Well, O2 had the exclusive on the first gen iPhones, but they may well not on the 3G version - Voda have inked exclusive contracts for the iPhone in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey. Want to bet we see something like that here?

Re: No more iPhones in the UK
more like they over estimated the public by trying to make a quick buck and realise now that they can't. everyone i know who owns one did not take up a contract with them. there were some who even bought a whole bunch, unlocked them and sold them to CEX for a quick buck. I'm sure they incurred heavy losses
