This may seem silly, but does it have a vibrate function? (I like to get my kicks from phones...)

I never have my phone on loud, and prefer to have it in my pocket.

I'm new to the whole iPhone thing so I want to ask what ''tethering" is?

Tethering is where you use the iPhones data connection to access the internet from your laptop.

Just like you can do out of the box with virtually any other handset.

Waiting for it to either be unlocked or opened up to more operators before I upgrade from the 2.5G one

I can now use Summerboard themes with Winterboard. Here's one with my new yellow case:

Interesting the bottom remark they say they think I'm on Wi-Fi. Nope.

It was something I picked up online. As I recall, MP3s need to be converted to AAC and then renamed to *.m4r. If done right, import into iTunes et voila! It'll appear under ringtones and it'll work on your iPhone.

If this fails, there's always 'iToner', an OS X application that allows you to upload ringtones from your library.

Despite complaints from some I think for a cell phone the iPhone 3G photos are not bad at all.

Using the new app Flixwagon I can now capture video to the internet with my iPhone 3G.

Just uploaded the new 2.0.2 firmware. Netshare still works but I of course lost my jailbreak and that pineapple bootup logo. So far I haven't noticed too much wrong. I did not restore from back up but set it up as a new iPhone due to a fear it might try to upload some of my jailbreak apps.

By the way I'm posting this from a Macbook Pro which is tethered wirelessly to my iPhone 3G.

Got one and love it despite all its floors. Hopefully some of these will be included with firmware updates
