Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  didn't see your post when I replied... for me its a toss up between this and the diamond pro... maybe I want one with a proper keyboard this time as my last 2 wm phones didn't have keyboards... Its the same size as an iphone, but I would imagine that because of the vastly superior resolution this will have a much better on screen keyboard... i find the iphone's dreadfully inaccurate

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  really? how long did you use it? cuz its got this memory thingy that will get used to your typing and then it wont make as many mistakes. but it will only register for the main user so if play with someone else's you might make a lot of typos... i on the other hand quite like the iphone but just like HTCs i just dont use all the functions.

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  Do you think a Pro version of this would be too big? I just really like the proper hard keyboard on my TyTN II. I'll probably give the touch Pro a miss though and go for its replacement next year as i'll be due a t-mobile upgrade by then

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  i like those HTCs with their hidden keyboards too but i think they tend to be too bulky. do you not think so? ohh and good idea with the wait, they usually try to come out with a better one every so often so no point in getting just a little better

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  Personally I think this looks like an awesome device, but in terms of keyboards I'd like to see it equipped not with a slideout landscape mode jobby like the TyTN II or Touch Pro, but something like the 20-key pad on my Touch Dual. Personally, I think that's a lot better setup (and it's much better than the 16-key TD, IMO). I don't think that the HTC devices with slideout keyboards are too bulky given the functionality you get. I love the TD, the Touch Pro we had delivered here recently is gorgeous, and the TyTN IIs are very popular - also I had a look at the S740 smartphone (non-touchscreen) phone at an Insight client event in Manchester the day before yesterday, and that is a superbly spiffy smartphone; not bulky at all.

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  Yeah the TyTn II is quite a lrage device, but it;s nice and easy to hold as you actually have something to grip onto.

| One Great Ordeal! | Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  Useless though for fitting in a pocket on a night out though. My pockets after wallets and keys are taken into account don't have room for the phone to fit, so it just gets left at home The Touch HD is one nice looking phone! |

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  oohhh i wish the networks starts to introduce dual sims. my brother in germany is using 2 sims for one line. so he can bring a small phone when going out and stick the other one in his iphone. actually the touch pro looks really nice too with the keyboard and all. but i still think i will wait a bit before i will change my xda orbit.

Re: HTC Touch HD 800x480  there is the sony ericsson experia X1 coming out soon as well which is made by HTC. Supposed to be good. http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/prod...x1?cc=gb&lc=en I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
