| Blackberry or iphone? Self explanitory topic really. Cant make my mind up. My E65 contract is up, so i need something new. I work in London, and *everybody* seems to have a blackberry, but i dont get what is so great about them. The iphone seems to have the better features at first glance. |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? You don't have a "none of the above" option. I'd go for an HTC of some kind instead. Or the new Samsung Omnia looks really good. | Civilian | Re: Blackberry or iphone? I've got an iPhone and the missus got herself the new Blackberry Bold today. From a consumer point of view the iPhone works fantastically but if you are dealing with hundreds of emails a day and the battery needs to last two weeks the Blackberry is the way forward. Apple really need to sort their batteries out, mine lasts two days at a push! |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? TBH I'm thinking a smartphone next, but am intrigued by the thought of Google OS on HTC hardware - so neither at the moment. I'll definitely be getting work to order a G1 though (for testing purposes - obviously). |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? Have set up both in the course of work ( with MS Exchange etc )and can confirm it's a case of Horses for Courses. Blackberry v.good for business use - probably more robust than Iphone. Iphone v.pretty and more suited to light work! 3G eats batteries on any device! My own humble opinion! |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? Have to say, also, for a work phone, the Nokia E-series business phones + later versions of Mail For Exchange are a pretty damned effective combo. We have a few E51s in service and they are hugely popular, and the E61i is very good - I was less than impressed originally, but that was largely due to the limitations of MFE, which has come on leaps and bounds. |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? Too true on the battery life. Have a charger close by if you use the phone lots. Still an awesome bit of kit and if user friendliness and all round fun is important to you get the iplop for sure, otherwise the fatberry probably has the functionality you want. |

| Re: Blackberry or iphone? E71! E71! E71! I've recommended this phone to three different people to date and they all love it. It's sleek, well built, has Nokia's very user friendly interface, and works very very well as a business phone (which shouldn't suprise me all that much as that's what it's supposed to do). Just go and pick one up, they're lovely. |
