Nuisance Calls

Hey all,

I've recently upgraded my contract and got myself a Nokia 6300, love the phone.

The problem is I keep getting nuisance calls from 01792 761 030, i looked it up on "who calls me" and found they are a nuisance company, Splash UK, who autodial and if you don't answer quickly enough they hang up. This is making it very hard for me to get hold of someone at the other end and tell them to shove their calling somewhere not very polite.

So... rather than get a call a day which I never get to in time I was wondering if it was possible to block the number so even if they call I don't get a ringing phone bugging me. Any ideas on how to do this?

You should be able to bar calls/numbers.

There was an article in the guardien newspaper a few days ago about this company called Splash.

O i had that number phone up last week on mine,Didn't know it was a nuisance call,But just like you it rang but not long enough to answer

Appears to be these guys:

Report it to ofcom the mor the better, if ofcom gets more than 100 complaints they can take the company to court.

Yeah they are an pain in the backside,took me ages to work out who number it was
