| Unlocking a Nokia 6220 Classic Ive got a Nokia 6220 Classic locked to 3. Im finding it very difficult in finding anyone that can obtain unlock codes for this phone so I can use my Vodafone sim. Anyone know any places that could do this for me? The other option is a Nokia Turbo SIM. Will one of these work in this phone? |

But are you sure all you do is tell them some details like IMEI number network its on and some other things. Ive used that forum loads of times,And some nice person has given me the code within 30minutes EDIT: Sorry i just checked again yes you are right the only way you are going to get it unlocked is to send it off,Because its a hardware unlock. Pulled from website: YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT YOUR NETWORK PROVIDER, OR CONTACT A PROFESSIONAL UNLOCKER - THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT CAN UNLOCK THE BB5 PHONES Last edited by jem; 16-10-2008 at 06:53 PM.. |

| Re: Unlocking a Nokia 6220 Classic I used foneszone to get an unlock code for my old 6500 slide. They are also BB5. Unfortunately they can get a code for this phone just yet for reasons unknown. Oh well looks like its ebay for my phone. Or, I could try a Turbo SIM. I dont know if these are any good though. |

| Re: Unlocking a Nokia 6220 Classic turbo sim will work but you'll have to cut up your sim, if you dont mind then they work wonders even in an iphone 3g you could try calling three for it and see if you could wheel and deal your way into getting the code off them |
