O2 vs Vodafone for Xperia X1 Well I have done the full cycle now. One2one -> BT Cellnet/O2 -> T-Mobile -> Vodafone -> Orange (Had a 3 phone for a day, but sent that turd back). Now looking at getting a Xperia X1. 2 Best deals I can see are here: http://www.mobiles.co.uk/o2-sony-eri...xperia-x1.html and http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/buyat1/s...order=0&page=1 Top one is £35 a month, 600 mins + Unlimited Texts plus whatever else O2 give. No hassle with claiming cashback. What concerns me with this is that there might not be included internet (can't see mentioned anywhere). £40 quidco with this one. Second one is £40 a month, 700mins + 250 text + unlimited internet + £60 quidco and £45 cashback after 12 months. Which has faster internet? and better internet coverage in London? They cost about the same all in all. So not sure which one to go for. Help me decide where to spend my easy earned money ![]() Cheers

Re: O2 vs Vodafone for Xperia X1 I would go with the vodafone one, but bare in mind either one you go with with will have the crappy software loaded onto it. o2 however is the worst removing the google panel entirely, if you do get any of those I would head on over to xda forums and debrand it fast. I think some people reported that vodafone blocks the windows live access if u do choose to use mobile messenger. otherwise vodafone imo have always had great internet in and around london, however for signal cant beat o2 but both would be fine. Not sure about that o2 one but i know on the normal o2 store u get added bolt ons, one of which is the unlimited internet bundle. also bare in mind vodafones internet is not unlimited its capped to something ridiculous like 200mb a month, there is currently a huge e-rage going on at their forums about it as well. but out of the two vodafone as much as it hates me to say.

Re: O2 vs Vodafone for Xperia X1 Thanks... hmmm... don't like the 200mb limit on voda, I reckon standard browsing would eat that up in no time... I might call them to check if O2 is unlimited internet (or at least 1gb). If it is I'll go with that then and will debrand it ![]() I got a custom rom on my HTC touch from xda developers... The guys there are really good at what they do! Any other opinions?
