FFS orange and their backwards website Im officially on blyk as my main network. but im off to swiss alps for holiday, and blyks roaming rates are taking the urine. Since they run off orange and any orange branded mobile will do, i have also kept a payg orange sim just in case. I was thinking off using that instead. all good, heres the problem: I need to find out how to top up with orange since its not simple, last time i used m sim was about a year ago and i dont remember anything. how to check my balance etc. i had a look at their website, its soo usefull...... spent 30 min looking at it, got no where and im sorry to resort to fellow hexians How do i?: 1)top up...step by step 2)check my balance 3)roaming rates for swiss

Re: FFS orange and their backwards website Sorry bit misleading my post, if its a pay & go you can either pick up a card at jacksons/asda etc and register it to the phone then use that to top-up (long way round). Basically go into asda/jacksons cig counter and ask for a orange pay as you go top up and they will give you a till receipt thingy, ring the number on that and type in the long code and all done. Only other way is to sign up for a orange mobile account then register your debit card against the phone https://services.orange.co.uk/sam/te...eb/sign_in.htm Also found this for ya, rates for swiz http://www2.orange.co.uk/servlet/Sat...arg3=&x=26&y=8

Re: FFS orange and their backwards website Orange are a terrible company. They messed my mum's telephone line up to the point where we had to re order the line as the account was so messed up BT had to delete it and start again (orange took the calls without asking but did it without the database showing that it had been done) they are still charging my girlfriend for her contract 4 months after cancellation (different amounts ever time) and they refuse to do anything about it. Its looking like we may need to take them to court!

Re: FFS orange and their backwards website Either get a payg simcard whilst your over there or just dont use it due to extortionate charges. You could keep in touch via a netbook, wifi hotspot and skype -> landline/mobile would be much cheaper. Is it 'mission critical' that you need to receive calls whilst your on holiday?
