Re: HTC HERO Arrived today :D Looks good if it's real, however the exact message given is this.. "HTC is actively working on a software update that will make your experience on your Hero device better. A partial software update is ready in 10 days and a major release will be available in mid September containing local language support.. Please check our website from time to time and update your device when the software is available" I would of expected some better grammar and punctuation from the head office of HTC but anyways, here's hoping.

Re: HTC HERO Arrived today :D Turning off WiFi improved my battery dramatically, from 1 day it's now gone to 3 days and I'm only at 50% battery.. that's with pretty frequent use of calls. Haven't had a chance to test out the MP3 player, need to look at how I go about moving my music onto it with album view. Edit: I can't find anything on the manual about album view, don't know if it automatically downloads the cover or something. Last edited by Zap; 18-08-2009 at 08:11 PM..

Re: HTC HERO Arrived today :D Android + Scumm VM + Full Throttle / Beneath A Steel Sky / The Dig = ![]() Have to say the update sounds interesting, obviously alot of people are having a much worse experience than I am having with my Hero. I have not used mine a huge amount for Mp3s other than in my car as my current head-unit is broken, and it hasn't appeared to adversely affect my battery playing through the speaker on loudest volume for 20mins. Thats part of the reason that garmin getting involved is so intriguing. If they make a version of their software for the phone could be cool
