Technically you dont really need to close apps. The Hero intelligently closes them when its running low on memory..

I love mine. Couldnt get it on upgrade without paying through the nose for it, so I bought a new contract and closed my old one, at the same price...

Anyone turned off SenseUI yet? I've not, but only had it a couple of days now, I might if the speed increase was considerable though.

I've been messing with tons of apps, widgets, bits and bobs across all screens and haven't had any noticeable slowdown at all.

Just got my new memory card for the phone 8gb trascend class 6 card. Might just be a placebo effect but things do seem a bit zippier now.

I was told that the phone does all its caching on the card so the faster cards help.

I have a light sabre app too

Since I bought an ipod touch, I wasn't going to bother with a new sd card as no longer using a phone (was using N95) for music etc. Looks like a speed boost would necessitate one though!

I've just tried mine with the 2GB card inplace of the 8GB one I first installed, with all the same widgets running, while opening the game "Teeter" there is definitely a speed decrease when compared to the high speed 8GB card.

I don't know if COMI will run, as it was a 640x480 game, and the display on the phone is 480 x 320

And MI2 is a no-go right now, since it needs a keyboard to pass the copy protection

    MI1 works though!

    and DOTT!
