What would you get for £15?

Im happy with the network i curenty have, but they desided to close in the uk.

i used to be with Blyk

now they are closing in uk, i still own my w910 but its locked to orange

My budget is about £10 to £15 / month

what contract would you get for that?

    just few things if possible

    1) i want to avoid orange, their coverage in swansea is pathetic
    2) id prefere a full touch screen phone, but thats optional

You could get your phone unlocked and go for sim only deal £15 per month 300 mins & 300 txt on O2 (1 month contract). Or possibly the XDA Zest (Windows Mobile 6.1 touch screen) on £15 per month, 100 mins & Unlimited txt and 24 month contract again on O2.

Not a great fan of 2yr contracts myself.

You haven't said how many mins/text you need so no-one can really say if that's good or not.

£18/month from Virgin (18mth), 150mins, 500txt, unlimited data with a Nokia 5800. is that good for you? Who knows

I'm on PAYG and spend £15 a month.

With that I get unlimited* O2 to O2 calls, unlimited* texts to O2 and also got the unlimited web access bolt-on for the iphone.

    What a bargain

There is no need to get a new sim-card. Simply go to 02.co.uk and login to your account.

Once logged in, change the 'talk plan' on the simcard to the O2 offering with free O2 calls and whatnot and then purchase the bolt-on for unlimited web access which is then taken from the £15 quid already applied to the phone to get the free calls/texts

It took my simcard I had 24 hours to switch onto the unlimited web access and then 4 days to roll over to free O2 calls and text offering.

Thats not a standard advertised tariff on their site, I take it they deduct some credit for the benefits you're getting? (ie the full £15?)
    Considering the O2 Sim only deal @ £15 is 300min/600txt, unlimited O2 - O2 calls I don't see how they offer more on Pay&Go?

Re: What would you get for £15?

I was also on the free calls free texts and unlimited web which was deducted from your balance each month. If there was insuffient credit then obviously normal charges were applied and you lost the data package etc.

If I recall correctly you have to look at the iphone pay and go tarrifs and add the unlimited web option from there on the site, this then is deducted from the balance with the o2 unlimited bolt on therefore works out at £15 pm for unlimited data, calls and texts to o2 numbers

Re: What would you get for £15?

The way it works with us (O2), the tariff is called O2 Unlimited, for £10 per month on that tariff gets you just the unlimited calls, for £15 per month you get Calls and Txt. This is to O2 numbers only, provided you top up the £15 per month before your anniversary date (Kind of like the minutes renewal date on a contract) you will get your minutes and texts. You also still have the £15 you put on to make calls and texts etc to other networks.

With all iPhones on PAYG you get the first 12 months web access free and unlimited across the 3G network and also on The Cloud wifi hotspots. After the first 12 months is up you have to pay £10 per month for the bolt on for the web.

I've just got a total bargain from Virgin Media:

Free Nokia 6303 Classic (which I have already sold on ebay for £95).

    £8.50p/m for 100txt & 100min

    18 month contract

    £60 cashback via quidco.

    No redemptions required!

I feel a bit guilty that this offer was so good!
