Question Re: News - Samsung to develop its own mobile OS?

i am hoping that someone here can help me because everyone seems to be very well informed about Mobile Operating Systems. I have tried everything and everywhere I can think of but I can not find a list or a resource that speaks to which Operating Systems are running on which Sansung phones. I can find that information for virtually every other manufacturer except Samsung. Even the Samsung employees I've spoken to are clueless short of saying, "most of our smartphones run on Windows mobile". Does anyone know where I can find a list of samsung phones and their operating systems? Are they ALL running on Symbian OS?

As far as I can see, they are all Windows Mobile. They do have a variety of interfaces over the top of the standard shell though.

The i7500 Galaxy is Android; the i8910 HD is Symbian S60r5; the "consumer" stuff e.g. Pixon, Tocco tends to run Access Linux. The i900 Omnia is their only current WinMo device in the UK (although the October refresh is looming). I'm not aware of anyone using VxWorks in the mobile space

Try pdadb.net for this kind of obtuse info
