| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile I use t-mobile web n walk on my e51. It can be described as 33kbps modem speed or less.. probably less. Definitely not broadband. Also it depends on where you use it too. My brother has a contract with Voda and on upgrade they included some net use for free and its a much better experience on his n95 8gb. o2 I read somewhere is congested hence their speeds suffer. |

| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile T-mobile Web'n'Walk on my Touch Diamond 2 is definitely "broadband speed" if you have a proper 3.5G signal. If you just get a GPRS, then yes, a couple of KB a second is what you will get. I use it a lot and it does vary from place to place, but it works well for me. |

| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile Agreed... work got me an iPhone on O2 for development purposes. Can't stand the thing. 3G coverage is useless. So, in response to the OP - not O2. I always had good coverage with T-Mobile... Small, brown, furry. |

I know you can get mobile broadband, but I want one that's part of my mobile contract so I can use it on my phone mainly but also hook my netbook up to if I want to. Think I may have to stay with t-mobile as can't see anyone else with a good web deal, just a shame about the lack of mobile choices with them. When will mobile companies learn that internet use is a large part of using mobiles now, yet they still offer small download limits, when you have apps stores, music/video downloads etc which will destroy a small limit of 500mb. I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem. |

I looked at Vodafones netbook offer about a month ago. £30p/m gets you mobile broadband with 1 gig limit on a dell netbook. No thanks. I'll use the internet cafe. |

| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile I'm on an O2 sim only contract which gets me a free bolt-on, so £20 a month for internets. If you don't want a handset with the contract, they're almost unbeatable value. I've only run into their 'fair' usage limit once or twice, and that was when I kept downloading Android images using 3G and not sensibly using WiFi. |

| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile Im with T-Mobile and have been having some trouble recently with quite slow speeds, it does flick to HSDPA on occasion, but it still feels slow. Im not sure how much of that might potentially be thanks to my phone tho.... |

| Re: Best UK network for internet on mobile Im on T mobile and managed to grab web n walk max on a half price tariff that Ive had for over 40 months now. I browse on my phone everyday and have a backup modem for when my normal broadband decides to bugger up. While I were at uni, I used it as my modem in student accomodation, very handy it was back then. But I only just heard about T mobile and Orange merging, this had better not affect my tariff . |
