| Re: WM6.5 ROMs from HTC? What gets me is how can some geek in their spare time consistently make better ROMs for HTC phones than HTC do themselves? My P3600 has been running a community WM6 ROM for years and it's so much better than the factory one it's not funny. My Touch pro's just been upgraded to WM6.5.1 and guess what? It's waaaaaaaay better than any of the factory ROMs. IT's not just the newer OSes that's donig it. Even the community ROMs that are the same WM version are way more stable and relaible. How does this happen? | Re: WM6.5 ROMs from HTC? What gets me is people on here calling people geeks. But yeah, I hear you but basically it's time and effort for HTC - their dev team probably has x amount of time on a product before they have to move onto the next. Don't forget though, a lot of what's being integrated on to these ROMs is just later versions of HTC and Microsofts software. Te audire non possum. | Re: WM6.5 ROMs from HTC? Just installed the 6.5 ROM. The initial setup is very smooth, I like it a lot. Not rocket science, but it let me set up my Exchange account and Google mail (could have continued to add further mail services) very easily. Just restoring my text and call logs with Pim Backup. 3,000+ messages takes a while to restore :/ |

| Re: WM6.5 ROMs from HTC? My HTC Touch 2 came with 6.5 already installed on it. Liking the new Windows menu and the touchflo works really well. Just finding some decent apps etc for it now. |
