Nokia and Exchange sync How are the Nokia E71 and E55 at Exchange sync in the real world? We are moving away from Blackberry's and they are the two hand sets that our phone supplier has given us to try out. Our exchange server hasn't been configured for remote access by phones yet so can't try it out for myself. There were Windows Mobile options I think, but they were more expensive. The Nokia'sa are free on contract, management liked this. They also showed the Palm Pre, but the guys said it was rubbish. The iPhone was also suggested but the cost was laughed at.

Re: Nokia and Exchange sync With the Nokia's you need Nokia "Mail for Exchange" application which does work on the "E" series Nokias at least, though i have heard it work's on some "N" series phones too. Here's a link: http://businesssoftware.nokia.com/ma..._downloads.php Hope this helps

Re: Nokia and Exchange sync Thanks. This will be something for our phone or IT supplier to sort out. Any experience with using it? I've only ever used a Windows Mobile device with Active Sync, so I don't know how well Mail for Exchange works,

Re: Nokia and Exchange sync I personally haven't had experience of it myself, I have a windows mobile phone too, though I have seen it working fine on E71 and E61i phones. One guy I know of had problems but that was just because he didn't have a Internet enabled on his phone and took a couple of days for Vodafone to realise this. Thats another thing, it might be worth checking with the network involved whether they give support or not on Nokia's "Mail for Exchange" since Vodafone don't it seems, they refer you to Nokia or Microsoft or IT support for the Exchange server.

Re: Nokia and Exchange sync Support will be through our IT support contractor and our mobile provider (a local B2B mobile store). We use O2 for the time being. Thanks for the input
