C500 clone windows smartphones, what are my options?

I've been told this Orange C500 is a bit of a legend for being the first proper good small windows smartphone:

I'm sure i saw it on Orange for only £140-150 on PAYG just the other month, cant find it anymore.

    Then there's the new SP3i:

Which i like since it has the joystick that is better than the rocker. But I'm not going to pay an extra £100 just for a joystick. And where can i find the C500 not on contract?

Well, the C550 is due out in May so they might have discontinued the C500. MoDaCo would be the place to ask though.

I haven't unlocked mine (it came application unlocked, but not sim-unlocked). It costs £20, and theres only one place that does it. If you search it on google, you will find it straight away.

I got a 256mb Kingston Mini SD card from ebuyer for £20 inc free delivery. Now i got lots of DivX videos, mp3s, and hundreds of camera shots on it along with Quake I

thought about mda compact? same software but with a touchscreen. Orange are bringing their own branded version out sometime if you need/want to stick with orange.

My mda compacts just arrived at home with satnav package from ukphoneshop.com.

Life is a game of chess.
    I'm crap at chess.
    Sometimes though, I get lucky.

Yeah, have been recommended it, but i dont want that much PDA in my phone, i dont really want to take steps backward from the 6230's size either. Also as much as i am careful, i'd rather not have a phone on me that is always on my mind as being delicate.

    If/when i do outgrow a c500 phone i'll look into it

    So if ound this adaptor:

    http://www.astarsolutions.co.uk/products/?pc=1184

But would like something even smaller, i suppose thats about as small as it gets though. Maybe an adaptor with a small, short cord with the socket at the end would be better
