getting a pac code from orange

basically, i have just ordered the k750i on o2 as, i would of liked to stay with orange but o2 offer the better deal on this phone, but basically i was looking around the orange site for a number or anything about getting a pac code as i wanted to use my current number (orange pay and go) and brign it across to o2

seems very convienient that i cant find anything - or perhaps im just stupid, proberly a bit of both

but anyways if someone could provide a number needed
also what sort of information am i likely to need to hand ?

thanx guys i can always count on u

Just ring PAYG Cust Services for Orange and ask for it

if my recent experience is anything to go by they'll muck you around a bit - be prepared to shout at someone from orange on the day you're numer is meant to be ported so that they sort out their "technical hitch" sharpish

if it had just happened to me i'd have been inclined to beleive it but the same happened to my sister 3 months ago, and her fella shortly after, seems like its their parting shot at you for leaving

if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

You need to call 450 from your Orange phone to get PAYG CS.

Better be quick because ASAIK you have 14 days after an O2 contract has started to port over a number. After that they might not let you port in. The recommended method is to transfer over to o2 before the contract starts.

T-mobile and orange let you port to them anytime during your contract.

I'd be asking them to call you back - IIRC Orange (like most providers) charge P&G customers heavily for CS calls. Never be afraid to mention OFFCOM - amazing the difference it can make (except with NThell).

    yeah, like that's true...

Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?
