Hi guys,

Thought I would ask here first, ok I have a Sony Erickson K750i & my buddy has the Nokia 6230, we are off to New York on Thursday – we are both on O2 onlines, just wondering if anyone has any info or knowledge about using these phones in America and stuff like does it cost to receive text msg and is it extra to send them… blah blah, I can’t call O2 up yet as I’m on a late shift but just wondered if anyone knows anything about this subject

Recieving texts should be free...other roaming will be international and expensive++.
Try and use a local phone if you can, it will probably work out cheaper.

Pick up a sim card whilst you are there if you want to make calls etc etc, you should be fine phone wise, USA requires triband.

I did last time I was there.
T-mobile use GSM so that's where I got mine.
