Any cool things on a V3
I've just given up my 7610 in exchange for a moto V3. I liked my 7610 for all its features but as I owned it over the 12 months I realised I little used the potential of the phone and just got annoyed at the slowness of the Symbian OS on it. So, I've given up any luxuries on a mobile and gone for a motorola V3, a simple phone on which I can call and txt with speed and ease.
So, are there any cool things I can do to customise the V3, like is there a site where I can get free V3 themes and stuff? |

Aside from the usual features of camera phone, the V3 only really has hardware features that push it ahead of the market - its made completly of Alloy, its thin, big screen, and the keys use a touch sensitive system rather than the push button system - enabling quicker dialing or texts.

Ah, the V3. Now there's a phone close to my heart...

I got rid after 3 months (no, you don't just 'get used to it') and got a K750i. It was like a breath of fresh air. Oh, and as cool as the key pad looks, it's a pain to use because it so large - your finger/thumb has to move around so much it starts to hurt. I ended up using both hands/thumbs and i dont have small hands.
There are lots of other things that a bad about that phone, such as the very slow, unresponsive and amazingly confusing and illogical menu's, but thats another story. I'm not a phone newbie, i was the first person ever to have a mobile in my town. It was a massive analouge Nokia about 15 years ago (everyone thought i must have been a drugs dealer back then) and i would rather have that back than a V3. Sorry to pee on your party mate. I mean this in the nicest possible way, i just can't recommend this phone to anyone. I'm sorry dude But hey, it's thin.If you have not got it yet, don't do it! There are far far better options out there mate that people on these 'ere forums can help you choose. Sorry for being so down on this phone and dont mean to uset and sensitive fans

Motorola phones are really bad in general. The 'iTap' is miles behind T9 predictive text, and the UI is rubbish on the V3 (dad has one).
I like both Nokia and Sony phones, both prett similar to use and perform well
Doo Doo Doo Da Da DA...

Starting to realise what's been said about txting with the V3, it is difficult, but i'm SLOWLY getting accustomed to it, and looking at it as the sacrifice I've made for what i consider to be a nice looking phone.
