Medion GPS Pocket PC Map Updates?! Help Please!
A Friend of mine has a Medion GPS pocket pc which he has had for about a year or two now. For some reason now the software has finally decided the maps he has are too old and continously prompts him to update his map versions. -Indeed this seems to be correct since occassionally the map may display a road that has changed or doesn't exist. So I thought It would be a simple case of going to the medion website to update, oh how wrong i was...
Unfortunately checking medion.co.uk and googling i so far haven't been able to find places to get him a new UK map. The device says it has "navtech onboard" so i persume it uses navtech map data... Apart from that i'm clueless.. any ideas where to find updated maps? Oh and the software is Medion GPS, i have suggested him upgrading the ppc to TomTom5 but am unsure as it doesn't list the device on the compatibility list and I am unsure if TomTom will work with internal antenna the pocket pc has? Thanks for help in advance
