    Question K700i problem

Hi guys - anyone know anything about this? I ha ve a K700i, which I love, but sometimes it gets a bit confused about who I have called. Usually, the name stays the same, but it secretly changes the number. This only applies to the call list, NOT the address book (which is unchanged).

    An example:

I had called the wife on her mobile, so her name appeared in the call list. I selected this and pressed call to phone her again (this was a day or two later) but got through to my parents!! Checked the address book, was still fine, just the calls list was messed up.

Any ideas? Have seen this problem mentioned in passing on other forums, but nothing in detail.

    Mike

Where did you get the phone? You might be able to take it to them (assuming it is a shop) and ask for them to upgrade the software. Might help, but gust geessing really.

I had phonebook issuses when i had my k700, the best solution i could find was to move all the sim numbers to the phone and made sure that the only phonebook was in the phone (eg, no stored numbers in the SIM)

Definately make sure all your numbers are stored primarily to the phone memory, if they already are then maybe you will need to do a factory reset..possibly the index table for the entries has become corrupted. u cud back it all up 2 ur pc usin free softare from the SE website, assumin u have datacable or a bluetooth compatible PC (or IR for that matter)
