No frills phone to some extent

My friend has asked me to recommend them a new mobile to replace their current one. A colour screen, and good build quality are really the only requirements, its gotta look nice too. Video/audio recording/playback is not required, bluetooth would be a plus, and a standard camera would suffice (or none at all).

Price range about £100, preferably less. I suggested a Sony Ericsson K700i, they must be going cheap with the new K750i's? She was looking at an LG and a Motorola (both around the £50-60 mark?) and I quickly steered her away, I think I did the right thing?

Also, it has to be unlocked, or take Orange SIM - shes currently an Orange PAYG customer

    Cheers,

    Tobeman

79.99 - sony ericsson z520i (also has a pink cover included in the package) o2 student site - www.o2.co.uk/students

Bluetooth, camera, free bluetooth headset, mp3 playback - o2 phones are all unlocked anyway, so fits your criteria

Schmunk the k300i is horrible, even worse than the t610 it replaced (ish). go for the k700i and you will not be disappointed, I've only jus changed mine for a k750i.

Try looking at the Orange 3G PAYG phones page - they've got some £50-60 phones with bluetooth, video calling/messaging/etc, decent camera. I've got an S750i, which isn't the most attractive phone, but works well enough, and takes nice pictures for a camera phone.
