| K750i Issues Just a quick survey thing before I call Orange to get my handset swapped, has anyone else had the following issues with their K750i: Dust behind the screen Joystick being very intermittent as to when it decides to actually work in all four directions Randomly turning off Setting screensaver to none, only to have it returned to a picture minutes later? Might see if they will swap for a D600 as well. |

| Real Ultimate Power! | Got the same phone and here are the issues I have with it: 1, Joy stick refuses to work unless under extreme pressure 2, Randomly turns off and then turns on 3, Screen will go white and only way to get the screen back is to turn it off 4, Charges intermitently 5, Whole phone locks up when you take pictures sometimes 6, Corruption of the screen when navigating the menu's I think thats what I have had so far in the 5 months I have owned it, trying to get Vodaphone to replace it under the insurance I am paying them for. |

| Im glad both of you have poste these issues, so I know. Last year I received a k700i soon as they came on to o2 and within 2 weeks had to send it back with virtually same issues. It was a lovely phone just didn't work. Does the w800i use the same sort of software and technicals as the k750i? |

| The W800 is exactly the same phone in terms of the hardware. I don't have insurance, but that shouldn't make a damn difference. This thing legally has a years warranty. I wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't me giving Sony Ericsson a second chance, the T610 fell to bits pretty soon after I got it as well. They can go screw themselves from now on as far as I care. |

| Real Ultimate Power! | Yeah I was offered the Motorola Razor when I got the new phone but took the ericsson, should of took the motorola to be honest. Have you also noticed that the signal strength on the 750 is really poor and drops off all the time, never had that issue with the Motorola 525 before this one. |

| You see this was the problem I had back then with the k700i they said they had so many phones like that they were taking them off the o2 website and instead gave me a pick of another phone for free within reason. I picked the 7610 at the time which was about 50quid. Turned out to be far superior aswell. I have been looking at these k750i's with all the big hoohar about them and even the w800i but after seeing these troubles I've totally changed my mind! |

| My g/f has one and if you're trying to use any of the setup menus it just crashes - virtually every time which makes it a real pain to set up. Once it's set up it's not too bad.. bit slow, feels like the CPU is really pushed hard. Bit of a toy phone rather than something useful if you ask me. |

| Sublime HEXUS.net | Weird, I've had my one for a few days now, and I can't say I've had any problems at all, in fact it feels very whizzy and smooth? Previous phone was an S700i, which wasn't exactly slow.. Which firmware versions do you guys have? Version found via: 1 Move joystick right 2 Press * 3 Move joystick left 4 Move joystick left 5 Press * 6 Move joystick left 7 Press * 8 Go to [SERVICE INFO], press select 9 Go to [SOFTWARE INFO], press select Mine's R1N035 for info Originally Posted by silent ben

| Quick call to Orange, my phone is going to be swapped out. I just need to give them a call when I get back home (at uni at the moment with no way of getting it collected). |

The K750i is a great phone - when its working. I have had very few problems with mine and love it. I know about 10 people who also have them but a couple did have a few problems. This was mainly down to the older firmware but after swapping for an upto date one have been plain sailing since then. The D600 does look nice though. |

| I'm using R1L002 and have had very few problems! The USB cable has developed a bad connection, and the phone frooze a few times yesterday when I was trying to connect to a dodgy bluetooth handsfree. Other than that I dont think I've had any problems at all! My mum also has a K750i, and her joystick has became unresponsive, and the menu's seem incredibly slow compared to on mine! They are both R1L002 and were both bought on O2 online on the same day! (about 4 and a half months ago) |

As for the 'fastport' connection, i have that. Real bad now. Design fault though. |
