| Anyone ever used Video Messaging? I'm interested if anyone has used Video Messaging, that being either the video calls or video calls to an automated system etc. What did you think, was it quick enough, any lag/breakup of picture/sound?. Have a chance to write a sample application to do some video messaging and i'm looking to see what peoples real world experiences are like. Cheers TiG -- Hexus Meets Rock! -- |

| Junior Senior Member | I've used it between various high-end phones and the results have been disappointing. Over Orange's 3G network and in the middle of London, the picture quality was very blocky and eventually the picture froze. I doubt that I'd ever use it out in the real world. |

| Personally, dont want and wont be getting a video phone no mater what the quality is like. I just dont like the concept. I dont want people to see me when im making a call and dont want people asking why i have turned it of either. |

| Just phoned my G/f for the first time over video, and apart from it being a novelty (and having its advantages for a long distance couple), i cant really see it being as big as was expected. The qualiy was good although the sound was slightly out. Bit like talking over MSN webcam when your both on JANET. Was fun though |eBay| Because monkeys never hurt anyone. |Hexus| -=|For Sale Thread|=- -------- -=|sam-t.co.uk|=- "If crime fighters fight crime, and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?" |

| I tried this recently with my best friend, both using 6680's... I held my phone in front of their baby boy as my friend walked around the house showing the video call off... I have to say I thought the result was pretty damn good, as the overall quality of the call was very good with little to no breakup (albeit we only tried it for a couple of minutes). |
