Sync phonebook bewteen Nokia 6310i, Nokia 6021 and SE K750i
Is there an easy way to sync the phone numbers stored in the above three phones? I have a Bluetooth dongle in my PC so would prefer to do it via Bluetooth or I can use my laptop which also has infra-red. I sumply want to ensure all three phones have the same contacts list.

We use Outlook
You can create folders to help manage them (email adresses and phone no etc)

Like the above poster said, use outlook to consolidate the numbers in one store (in the address book).
Easiest way of doing this is using the Bluetooth dongle in conjunction with the sync software in Nokia PC Suite (free from the Nokia web site; http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,72014,00.html) for the 6310i and 6021, which dumps the contacts straight into Outlook, and the k750i software also does this and is found at; http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...14000&esi=true |

ensure that tod is correct on all three phones, else you'll get duplicates. impressively, my dad got 6 sets of duplicates between his 6230, 800 and treo, simply down to timezone settings (i.e. commutes between aus and nz, and uses gprs to sync phone time - but all of his phones are on different networks!)
easy to fix, but a bugger to clean up. |
