    unlocking a k750i

I got a k750i on orange a few days ago and its good but im not mega impressed with Orange. Nothing major but just a few little niggly things one of them being that I can't get a signal where i work so i was thinking of getting the phone unlocked. but is this something I can do my self and if so how? what equipement do u need? is it even legal? Cheers

unlocking is legal, unblocking is illegal
you could ring up orange and make a story about you going abroad on holiday for a few weeks and want to put another sim inside it. they charge roughly 20-25

or, you could just go to a phone shop, if you're anywhere around croydon, i can point you to the right direction... charge there is £15

to do it yourself, you need an unlocker although it will not be worth your while unless you're unlocking others for other people at a charge.

www.davinciteam.com can be unlocked using the USB cable that comes with the phone, one credit costs about £6.
