    O2 "free call alert" texts (free payg sim)

    anyway to turn them off? they get annoying.

    and all the other stuff o2 does just to annoy you...

    Its on the O2 site somewhere, you phone a number and they turn it on or off, cant reember where the hell it was tho Ringin 2211 rings a bell, not sure if thats to sort it, or just to turn it on,

    I find it's really intermittent, sometime I get it sometimes I don't.

    I don't see the point in it anyway, all phones now have a call register and tells you when you've missed calls and gives the time and number (if it was private or withheld)

    Am I the only one that finds it very handy ?

    I visit a few clubs which have virtually no reception at all and when I get a bit of signal it shows me who's trying to get ahold of me.

    As for the O2 website - I hate it for looking for information. It really needs redesigning to make it much more user friendly.

    When I first got one I thought it was a cool idea, but as I only got them every now and then I thought it was rubbish. I get good signal pretty much everywhere I go so hadn't thought about it that way.
