I just want to...
...HURT someone from MS's Windows Mobile division. Who the **** decided that making the connection to your PPC should be done via pseudo-TCP/IP? What the hell was wrong with just having it connect via USB? For those who don't understand why this is an issue, I commend to your attention THIS article, especially that portion under "Desktop Firewall Applications". Which is fine, except when you work in a domain with a GPO defined for the Windows Firewall, which I have just spent some time buggering around with after finding the article noted. By the way, program exceptions in the Windows Firewall GPO are case-sensitive, and the case given for the exes listed for ActiveSync are wrong...
