    SPV e100

I have the e100 and it was working fine about a year ago a friend used a programme to unlock it. 6 months later it stopped working and i have had problems ever since. I have tried everything including ringing orange, there answer was that the phone will need to go to a shop and i will possibly have to pay to have it repaired.

The problem with the phone is that it has no service no matter what sim card i put in it and no matter where the phone is. It recognises the various sim cards but has no service. Could somebody please help me?

    Many thanks Rob

    Hmm..

Okay first thing first.. make sure the handset in not in airplane mode, you may have to check your manual to check how to do this.

Not 100% on this but it seems like you could have a blocked IMEI, in that one of the networks have blacklisted the mobiles serial number as lost or stolen..

The unlock program may have changed the original IMEI to that of a blocked one (which is now illegal and i think can result in 10 years in prision )

try typing *#06# into the handset and confirm with the sticker on the inside of the handset see if they match.. if they do then you are best ringing your provider to see if you can have the bar lifted.

    tried that

Well its not in aeroplane mode (the orange techy asked that) i have checked the EMEI and the *#06# EMEI number matches the one in my phone.

When i ring them up will they actually know how to check if my EMEI is barred? If so would they be able to unblock it?

    Thank you
