Anyone here got a Jabra bluetooth headset?

Just wondering if they are better than 'normal' style one's. Are they more comfortable behind the ear? Can you still wear glasses? Are they actually any good?

I used a Jabra BT800, call quality is very good, so is ring tone and vibration, enough to alert you but no to attract too much attention. I think is comfotable enough, even when wearing glasses, but it is a bit loose though.

    Primary kit:
    Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8
    Epson RD-1

    Film Kit:
    Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

    Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

Depends on your budget i guess. I have a Jabra JX10 after my girlfriend bought it for me for Xmas. Anyway, its very small and comes with a detachable clip, so that it can be worn on its own. Didnt think it was that comfortable, as i wear glasses and the clip got in the way a bit, then the clip broke, which was the best thing that ever happened.

This is because i then had the idea of putting an old earphone cover (you know the slightly foamy ones) over the earpiece. It doesnt detract from voice clarity, but it means that i can put it in my ear and it never moves at all, and no clip to get in the way of my glasses. The only down point may be the price, though that may have come down.

If its too much then i suggest the plantronics voyager 510, which i had before the JX10. Although it looks big, the earloop is a lot smaller than the Jabra ones IMO and it was very good, and also very comfortable. I managed to get mine new off ebay for £25 and that was a bargain.

Hope the comments help a bit, JP

I've bought 3 BT Jabra 250v headsets for my family after having had one myself for the past year. It's extremely comfortable (I wear glasses almost all the time) and reliable.
