I didnt know my 7600 was THIS ****e
I hate this PoS
![]() I had the clever idea that i could use multimap on gprs connection. I can, works perfectly *in theroy*. With tesco mobile charing £4/mb charged per kb, each map takes about 20p depending on size, fair enough... all you need is the postcode and the address: http://www.multimap.com/map/places.cgi?client=light or http://www.multimap.com/map/places.cgi?client=light&pc=[postcode] to go directly to the map. If I still had credit on my o2 number this would be a good way to use up the 1mb free, and gprs is £1/mb so i might put some more credit on it one day... But guess what, my phone, which allows me to take resonable quality pictures, and view each 640*480 pixels with some minor scrolling.. shows the map as a TINY unreadable smudge across half the screen where it should take several pages ![]() About 5 mins of fiddling and theres no way to see it in full size... Cant save it or do anything, making this another thing for a 7600 to do purely from crappy design ![]() edit: possibly just bad html code.. dont see why they need so much crap on the page, like picture buttons that between them take 4k each which is about 5p worth for me! edit2: nope its definatly my phone, no idea why Last edited by SilentDeath; 14-05-2006 at 02:48 AM.. |

i wouldnt mind one of the htc pda's too exensive for me atm though..
All i wanted was a simple map and it cant even do that. I think its becuase the zoom is proportianal to some random thing and is not 1:1 as i thought. Tryed enlarging a map from 500x300 to 1000x600 but it put it exactly the same size on the screen
