Q: Using Bluetooth to access my broadband connection

I know already that I can connect my laptop up to the mobile via bluetooth and then use the mobile as a modem to access the internet on the go.

However, what if I am at home out in the garden and I want to use my phone to access the internet using my home broadband connection, rather than the mobile's GPRS.

I'm thinking that I could use the phone's bluetooth connection to hook up to the desktop, and then use the PC's broadband to access the internet. This way I get free internet access when I'm about the house (assuming I'm within range of the bluetooth adapter).

    Has anyone done this ?

Can do it on an LG and a good bluetooth usb plugin.
There`s even a config option for Internet access on the phone and my blue runs around a meg at 50ft or so. Still a bit slow on a 10Mbit connect and I hate thoe small screen but doable.
Hope you got a good plan though cos even email eats mine up and 3s plans aren`t cheap for download megabytes and you are still using your phone plan, not getting free access which I guess is what you`re trying.
3s access is about as fast direct as via my lappie long as you`re in 3G area and I hate blackcurrants emailer.
