Any problems with the Motorola L6? Hi Does anyone have a Motorola L6 - the candybar format of the razr thin phone? I'm recommending a deal to my brother, and it's with the blue/grey format of this phone - but if it's a stinker I'll lose my techy guru status... so any problems please post! Or I'll have to get off my mountain... Thanks a lot DM

I have the red one, L7, but im pretty sure its nearly identical. I like it, although a few things that annoy me about it that i used to have on my Nokia. 1. No countdown timer 2. If you leave it, the screen goes black whereas the nokia had the time there (and no im pretty sure you cant change it, i sure tried) 3. When texting, if you accidently quit, you loose the text whereas on the nokia if you accidentaly quit, the text stayed if you went back onto the msg (until you choose to delete what you've written) Apart from that its pretty good, gues it depends what you want, i just wanted it cos its slim. ![]() To get an avatar requires you make 500 sensible posts.....yet still people ask so why do I even bother having this here!

My wife has the Pink L6 and she's very happy with it (which makes me happy 'cause she's a little fussy over phones). It looks great, has the standard Motorola menu system and the screen seems scratch resistant. It's a great phone for the price in my view. The only issue is the side buttons can be easy to accidentally press which is why I encourage her to use the keypad lock function all the time.

I'm led to believe that the L6 is not a patch on the L7. I read a very good review comparing the two, and the L7 was jusged to be much much better quality (screen res, case quality and feel, software etc)

What did you go for in the end? Spotted a good deal on the L6 with Virgin. £69.99 with £35 credit, not a bad buy considering the price of the phone elsewhere. http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/c...e=MOT-STD-L6-1

Yeh screen is better on L7 but if you have used Sony Eric's, Nokia or Samsung you'll dind the interface abit slow and disappointing. But as a phone simply to answer and make calls not too bad, just my opinion.
