| I'm having problems registering my new SPV M600 (the new PDA-style Orange phone). This is how the conversation with Orange CS registrations department went today at 12.30pm. I called Orange CS and asked to speak to a technical person as I believe there's a problem with the SIM card: Me: I'm having problems registering my SIM card on my new upgrade phone. Orange CS: What's the make and model of the phone, sir? Me: It's an Orange SPV M600 Orange CS: <pause> Me again: It's an Orange SPV M600 Orange CS: Yes, but who makes it? Me: Orange Orange CS: Orange don't make phones. Is it a Nokia or Motorola? Me: No Orange CS: Who makes the phone? Me: Orange Orange CS: Orange don't make phones, is it a Sony Ericsson? Me: No, it's an Orange SPV M600 Orange CS: Can you hold the line please... Me: Yep! Orange CS: Can you tell me who makes the phone? Me: Orange Orange CS: Is it a Nokia? Me: <click>......brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I might end up sending it back as I have 7 days to accept it. If this is the level of knowledge of their technical department then it might be better to switch provider. |

| Orange ramped up the quality of their CS about a year ago when I got my contract, and I was very impressed by it. They have been total crap lately though, so I'm now with O2. |
