the only phone i've seen over here with Push to talk was a Nokia 6131 that a friend has. Had to explain to her what it was and that i didn't know anyone else with it.

    Out of interest; why?

I have the k800i and love it, haven't had any problems (had it for just over a month) - and I love the texting etc. and it has good signal with Orange in my area where some other phones don't.

My current phone is 2½ years old (SE P900, on Orange), I've been waiting for the SE W950i since I first read about it towards the beginning of the year.

I got fed up of waiting for it, so on sunday I got the K800i on the Three network.

I like the phone (but still prefer my P900), and the camera is fantastic, but I'm not receiving any signal at home (I can get signal in the street, but get 'emergency calls only' indoors. Signal @ work is great).

    My options are:
    * Get the same phone on Orange (only operater that has good signal in my area).
    * Wait for the deal Three is sorting out with Orange to piggyback their signal off their masts (approx 4 months)
    * Return phone and wait for W950i.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards returning it and waiting for W950i on orange.

you could always make your own theme, just get a bmp/jpeg image and resize it for the phone and then just transfer it with the data cable. I made a Spawn one for mine.

Uses the standard mem sticks, so my current 2gb card can be used in it.

    Looks far sexier

It's a evolution of the W series of handsets, the cam of the k800i doesn't apeal to me at all

The only downer could be the slide system.....

The only problem I seem to have with the K800i is when it's on 3G signal, which is a bit hit and miss. When it decides just to use normal signal then the strength is great.
