Wow, really? Well i never!!! Thanks for the wonderful insight. None of us realised that. Know we know, how silly we are!

Hey, i also heard that cars are not quite as good for flying in as aeroplanes are. Any truth in this?

Seems to work well enough. Which ones have you used?

Getting a phone for free is FA too. Especially one with 5mp cam plus all the other stuff. Your not going to tell us that a 5mp camera phone wont be as good as a proper 5mp camera? Surely no?

Please let us in on your secret supply. Where can you buy them off-line for under £500 new? Or did you intend to take 10 contracts out?

You know what, now i realise how wrong i am. The phones going back. i should never have got this phone, i should have bought an iPod shuffle, TomTom GPS, WiFi PDA and a phone for calls and text plus a pair of clowns trousers with extra large pockets. What a fool i feel now!!!!

    Thanks for all your help!

autopilot, what i meant was if you already have all of the seperate things then the phone isnt going to impress, as i found. i guess if you dont have any of the things it has then its fine..
I have found the sat nav never to be very reliable with re routing.
And tbh as you sacasticly put it there are a vast differnce between phone cameras, megapixels is the main selling point but in actual fact, some phones wih the same megapixel rating are a vast amount better than others, take the samsungs with the 2 megapixel camera, its nowhere near as good as a k750 and yet its supposed to be the same.

When i said i wish i bought ten i was talking about from another country where tey not only cost less than here but were also oput much beforehand.

agent yes i have used it, our company has a computer and phone section

    yeh pwned, get a clue.

I admit the phone has got ALOT of features to get these all working perfectly (bar the camera ofc) was very hard work I found, and when it had been set up I disliked the sat nav for its non ability to reroute, much like tomtom I have since found out.

My point was, that for a phone its very good. I have other devices (sat nav, camera, MP3 etc) but dont always carry them. Just because i have a great HiFi at home does not mean i dont want a reasonable radio in my car.
I dont recall anyone saying that it pawns all standalone sat nav, cameras etc. If i compare them to the photos taken with my digtal SLR i am not really impressed. But i am impressed that they came from a small free phone.

And yes, megapixels are largely irrelevant. As it's the "Carl Zeiss" optics. Until we finally get proper mechanical shutters and proper sensors and lenses, i wont be getting rid of my camera. But i dont have my SLR in my pocket right now. But a quick shot in good light with my N95 is more than adequate.

The sav nav that comes on the N95 is a bit lame, it more of a tech demo really, but it runs TomTom fine. Also have a look at Viewranger OS. At the moment i am using a Holux Bluetooth GPS unit with it, but TomTom are in the process of updating so it works with the internal one. It should be a very trivial task to use nokias API so i hope it wont take long.

is that an upgrade cos that sounds quite high, if its an upgrade ask to speak to the retention dep and say your not happy and you seen better deals, also get insurance and get them to drop the price on it then cancel the insurance once you have got the phone

Its a lot faster than an N80

I am not sure it's much better as a phone than the K800

    It's also pretty huge...

Just had a look at this review and thought it was fairly small... Not tiny by any means, but small regardless.
