| my mate has the spv on dolphin package, so he gets the phone, 500 x-net mins and unlimited texts for 35 a month. 4mb data costs 4 quid, which is quite a bargain i think |

| I would wait for the htc p3300 you get GPS built in but not sure if it will do 3G if that is also needed. T-Mobiles Web'n'Walk packages is your best bet £30.00 month £40 for phone big problem is the T-mobile network if you can put up with some of the problems or are in a very good area for use, should be the best deal. | I've just got one of these to play with and... umm the build quality seems to get worse on them and the stability of WM5 is laughable. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Vini; 02-10-2006 at 01:46 PM.. |

| Ewww, don't like that vodafone styling (or rather lack of) too much ![]() Prefer my t-mobile Vario II more, but I think the Orange variant is perhaps the sexiest. Nonetheless, I bought mine, based on the available contracts tailored for my use (Flext 35 + WnW) which is what it should probably come down to at the end of the day Originally Posted by Noni

| The stability of any WM5 device seems to be poor at release, which is partly down to the differing hardware of each device and the bloody networks insting on messing with the firmware and adding thier own and usually pointless crap (for example, the O2 xda mini was an absolute joke to begin with). As with all HTC models, things should improve nicely over time with firmware updates. The lastest firmware ROM for my Vario 2 has made it about 10 times more stable Nd practically doubled the battery life. It amazes me just how wrong they can get it, i gues they just rush the devices out to compete with other networks and think to hell with the bugs, we will patch them later. |

| Nice devices all in all these ones, I'd suggest the T-Mobile Vario 2 though, as you can use it with Web'n'Walk which none of the other networks can compete with, well not yet anyway . |

| well with the t-moble vario 2`s seeming to be having a lot of problems at this time but to be fair this seems to be down to htc. i am going to leave it until the new year and maybe by then windows mobile 5 will have had its upgrade to a less buggy option on the software side will also be a good thing its due to happen early 2007. |
