Emai Sync Software Hi all, im just wondering whether there is any PC software available that will sync with my K800i via bluetooth so that I can see my emails + any new email coming in, when im AFK (downstairs watching TV etc..) I know some smart phones have this feature but im wondering whether there is a java application which would also do the same. Cheers Martin

I didnt realise it supported push, but i think a bluetooth solution will be fine for me as push is going to cost me quite a bit, am I right? Thanks for the link autopilot, that software is fantastic.

It turns out in the end that if I wanted to set this up there is a feature within the phone to connect through bluetooth to the internet and pick my emails up for me. I havent tried it yet but it should be interesting to see when I get home.

It won't be true push email - you cannot have "push email" setup without some kind of server at the backend doing the pushing. It'll simply launch an IMAP connection to the server and use the IDLE extension to monitor for new mail - so you'll have an "always on" connection to the server. Also not all servers support IDLE extension ![]() Get a BlackBerry if you want true push email.
