    The W950i has landed :)

Picked it up this lunchtime, very swish, comes with a whole pile of bits and bobs!

I've got it on charge at the moment, the tricky bit is working out how to get all my contacts back on it (fma can't see it at the moment), I'll post some pics up later..

Size wise it's a bit longer (under 1cm), a bit wider (under 1cm), but a bit thinner (~5mm) than a K750i. No camera, but I wasn't bothered about that anyway.

Oh the pouch *stinks* - it's a good quality pouch, but it absolutely reeks of whatever solvent was used in it's manufacture.. I think it'll be hung up outside until the stench wears off..

Yip, it's a Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone, with all the touchscreen goodness

So far it feels very solid, and well built

Also, by turning the "transitions" off, the UI absolutely flies

Straight from an o2 store this lunch time, £99 upgrades on all tariffs over £25 and under £55ish, only free on the £75 a month contract..

    Sim free? £500.

I Think an 850i with a 4gb pro duo would probably still be the better day to day phone.

    Why's that?

The only thing this is missing in comparison to the k750 is the camera, and has a lot more plusses with the bigger screen, the UIQ interface (much faster), proper internet browsing etc.. the size isn't really an issue, as it fits in my pocket better than the k750 did..

for transferring contacts just backup off your k750i or whatever (proably to outlook express format, then sync that onto the w950. I managed it from a motorola v3 to my new 850 so it should be simple enough between two SE's
