What happen if I unlock my Vario 2 ?
Hi just got a Vario 2 from T-mobile. Wanna try unlock it, but will doing that disable my 3G capability ? Cause i use web-and-walk quite a lot.
Primary kit:
Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8 Epson RD-1 Film Kit: Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2 Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8 |

i dont see why it should? why do you want to unlock it?
I imagine that you'll only have '3G' with a 3g provider, ie t-mobile or Three... if you were to put an o2 sim in there i imagine you'll just have a 2G (2.5G?) phone

unlocking will not disable 3G capability. for further info refer to xda forum

I've unlocked and upgraded the firmware of my Vario II. Takes 30 minutes and is well worth it.
Using the latest HTC firmware and its a lot more responsive and bug free than the default T-Mobile firmware. |
