how to enable full post code search - tomtom 6

I've tried to use a full postcode search on my TomTom 6 install today for the first time.

    I input BA3 22B

But the postcode search stopped at BA3

Do I have to enable it somehow ?

    It is Inevitable.....

I had this problem but it turned out not to be a problem after all. You have to type the post code without any spaces. So BA322B!

Have you tried alternative post codes as I my copy of TT6 doesn't recognise some postcodes such as my works address or one that are within an industrial estates?

running the great britain map - not GB and major roads of europe

Tried another destination to Brighton last night, I got the exact address and it found it with the street name etc, but entering the full postcode with/without spaces just brough up "brighton"

    Any other advice ?

I had this problem too when I first got it. It's a bug in the software. Follow the instructions hither: http://www.tomtom.com/support/index....g1651dhv5o8r90
