| NAVMAN PiN 570 Does anybody happen to have a NAVMAN PiN 570? My Dad happened to come across one dirt cheap so he bought it and gave it to me (no more available I'm afraid, I've already asked!). Anyhow, I've had a quick play on it and it looks like a good gadget. I took it for a quick spin in the car and the Sat Nav (SmartST 2005) actually works quite well. I'm new to the whole Windows Mobile scene in general, but it looks very handy. I've synced it with my PC and it's now got all my contacts, e-mails, tasks, notes etc. Groovy! I do have a few question about it though, and I'm hopeful somebody else who has one (or is generally in the know) can help out. Firstly, is there anyway to connect this device to a wireless network? It doesn't seem to have wi-fi built in, but is there anything I can add to it to get that feature? The e-mail, internet browser, msn and other online features seem to be useless at the moment but with wi-fi they could be great. Secondly, the map on SmartST 2005 seems to be quite up to date but I live in a fairly new house which isn't on it, is there anyway I can update the maps? Those are my two main questions, other than that, what other cool things can it do? |

| you can definately get both sd and cf wifi cards, however you will probably find the gps reciever is an sd one. as far as other stuff todo. Noviremote is fairly handy, and theres a decent array of games. with the addition of a bigger memory car it would also make a decent portable video player/dap Athlon 64 X2 3800+ on EP-9NDA3+ 1GB Crucial Ballistix + 1GB Generic Pap PC3200 Gainward 6800GT Golden Sample (438/1170) Soundblaster Live Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro w/ Gigaworks S750 speakers. | The GPS reciever is a big thing on the back of it that flips up when I need to use it. Any ideas where I might be able to pick up an SD Wi-Fi card? Although I'm sure I've only scratched the surface when it comes to this NAVMAN's features, I'm really enjoying it so far. It's such a nifty gadget! I'll certainly be looking more into Pocket PC's in future. |

| I bought a Navman pin 570 from Halfords for £99, works great right out the box, also found a speedcamera POI overlay on the web, and ebay provided a SD wifi card for £20.... Happy camper |

| Thanks for the info mate. Query about the SD Wi-Fi access, I'm guessing that using the Wi-Fi card means that you have to remove the SatNav card and therefore can't use them both simultaneously? |
