| Nokia N95 / Sony K800i Hi all, It's upgrade time again..... Im either thinking of getting the K800 now or waiting until March to get the N95. I've had a few Sony phones and all of them have been great. I have a few mates with this K800 handset and they say it's cracking! But Nokia have this N95 coming out on O2 in march. It's got Sat nav and it's got a 5 mega pixel camera! (See link for mini review http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp...ource=MOSTREAD ) Is anyone else out there wating for this model or can anyone comment on what the nokia N rage is like? My mate has the N73 and he said it's ok but a tad slow sometimes. Any other input would be great! Thanks all D |

| Had a look at a N93 (or is it N94, i can't keep up) on new years eve. Nice screen etc, looks very cool too. Not so sure about the build quality, that complex hinge doesn't look like it would last long for some people. Also the thing is massive. It isn't far off being the same size as my P990i and it's no skinny phone. Personally i would go for the K800, but i really like SE phones. EDIT: Doh! i thought the N95 was an upgrade to the N93 (well you would, wouldn't you). Turns out is is a grown up N80 and so a completely different phone than i saw the other day. you can go ahead and ignore this post completely now Last edited by Funkstar; 02-01-2007 at 08:35 PM.. |

| radix lecti | I would have to have to say the same - I have no direct experience of the n95, but I do know the n93 I used wasn't as nice, as intuitive as the k800i. It did benefit from being a SymbianOS phone, if that worries you at all... Dave ![]() ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ. |

| people would normally find themselves deciding between n93 and k800.... n93 has a better spec, but then k800 is SE the n95 however, is a far higher class of fone..... this decision is entirely on how much u luv SE! 95 is just too good, spec wise. 2 points...... K800 on ebay - £170ish N93 - £250ish the bad point......IN THAT CASE, HOW EXPENSIVE WILL THE N95 BE!!! the goodpoint......N93 price will come down |

| I remember seeing that review on Mobileburn a while back and definitely think that is the phone for me come upgrade time but I guess its going to cost an absolute ton to buy. Features wise it sounds great – his res screen (a must after my s700i and then 6280), 5MP camera – not great in its on right, but I think it has a decent lens behind it which is more important for photography – and GPS, which is more cool for me than actually useful. But to be honest, the whole 2 way slide mechanism looks great and looks like it could be a great way to view media and also to play games. The only downer on the specs is the relatively low capacity of the battery in the handset - if the N80 is anything to go buy, then there may well be frequent charges needed for the owner of this phone! Still, I want one!!! Will wait to see if I can afford the extortionate prices by the time I upgrade ![]() JP Last edited by jonathan_phang; 04-01-2007 at 02:17 PM.. |

| It's not going to be cheap though. In my sales guide from my employer's main supplier, the only deal I can see where I can offer it free when it's released would be T-Mobile's Flext 75. It looks to be about £500 retail for a sim-free handset. |

| I'll be due for an upgrade round that time so i was thinkin of N73, N80, N95 or whatever latest NOKIA model that would be available round that time. I've tried other manufacturers and tbh, I wasnt impressed so I'd rather stick to NOKIA... To all the N80 users out there, how do you find it? Does it function to your expectations? Good build quality? Great features? How's the Wi-Fi? |

| I have a K800. yes its a good phone with a good operating system, but you cant compare it to N95. The N95 is a completely different class of phone. I'm very interested in the N95 myself, and its certainly on my list of upgrades. All depends on what you want. Yes the K800 is cheaper, but then it doesnt bring to the table what the N95 does. N95 no brainer if you can wait. Alternatively theres the new Apple iphone coming out, which WILL cost the earth, but mans its so pimp. |

| I'm actually waiting for the N95 right now, everyone keeps dissing my phone but I know that phone is going to own! And tbh all the current phones look a little tame. The only real competitor, in my eyes, the iPhone (or whatever it will be called after the lawsuit) won't be out for a v.long time... | I've been around the block with mobile phones, I started with a Nokia then went to Siemens, then Samsung, then a Sony Ericsson but now I'm thankfully back at Nokia with my N80. I personally find the Nokia phones to be the best, I like the interface and once you're familiar with one Nokia phone, you'll like them all. The N95 does look a bit special too! |
