Which Pocket PC? Having recently obtained a NAVMAN PiN 570, I've become very interested in Pocket PC's! Whilst the NAVMAN is nice and a good introduction to Pocket PCs, I'm sure there is a lot more out there. What would really be a treat would be a Pocket PC with built in wireless that would sync automatically with my PC. I just love the idea of wireless access to my e-mails, calender and the web whilst around the house and out and about. I currently have a Nokia N80 mobile phone and although the wi-fi, e-mail and web browser functionality is all rather good, it's not even close to a Pocket PC. Who here has a Pocket PC? If so, which one and what do you make of it? Which Pocket PC would you recommend?

dell axim x51v, great ppc, with the latest update windows mobile 5 is fairly stable. the most powerful processor in a pocket PC (>600mhz), an inbuilt graphical accelerator chip, full VGA resolution, and a great screen for watching movies on, oh, and it has a great audio output for playing mp3s, oggs, wma, or whatever. also, having dual expansion ports (sd, and CF) you can add loads of memory, or other "thingies". ok, the battery life isnt the greatest, but spare batteries are quite cheap, and it takes 5 seconds to change them hope that helps!

Thanks for the links, they both look great! Herulach, is the HTC TyTN the same as the Orange SPV m3100 by any chance? The reason I ask is that they look almost identical! (See the Orange one here) The Orange SPV M3100 looks like a suitable sollution for me as I'd be able to get a good price on upgrade from my current contract.

i have the best of the best PDAs the Asus MyPal A730W and i can honestly say, they are not worth the money. Windows Mobile is a very unstable and bloated operating system, id recommend a PDA running palmOS. or you should just get a nice phone instead ![]() 3700+ A64 @ 2.9 1.55v / 7900GT @ 650/850 / ASUS MYPAL A730W / Iiyama 19" CRT Zalman Reserator 1+ / Logitech Z5500 Digital / Audigy 2 ZS / 900GB Maxtor HDDs Last edited by eggman; 09-01-2007 at 07:36 PM..
