    Which new phone?

My contract has just run out with O2, I was on a £15p/m for 400 mins and 400 texts, amazing deal which I can't seem to match anywhere at the moment. Any idea on where to get a similar contract again? I've looked everywhere but to get anything close to that again i'd be looking at £35 a month.
    I don't want to go over £20pm.

I've been looking around at new phone's but nothings really standing out as a must buy phone.
The two I'm currently looking at are the Samsung D900 and the Nokia N73.
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks

you won't get anything like that kind of contract anywhere else i don't think. You've got a good deal there.

Personally i would stay away from Samsung phones, never seen that had decent software.

I got a Samsung D600 with my last years contract, but really don't like the OS built into it, it's started to get really slow.
I'm at the point where I'm using my old Nokia 6230!

The new Nokia N73 looks a good bet, any opinions on it?
I've tried an old SE but wasn't too keen on it, it took ages to do anything and didn't have much going for it.

As I have said before in this post, I work for Nokia and there are quite a few N73 phones around the office, and I am quite impressed by them. Should my current company supplied phone mysteriously stop working, I would order an N73 as a replacement.

N73 is a good all round phone, especially as Nokia now allow you to update the firmware yourself (using their NUS application).

Camera is pretty good, I've got a few pics on my flickr pages :

Music player is quite good, especially on the ME firmware. Battery life is okay, I'm typically getting 3 days usage.

personally i really like my d600, down at the cheapy end of the market. simple, well-designed, all features (such as bluetooth) implemented properly, and a far cry from my last samsung phone

I'd say renew your current contract - and if they don't offer you a phone you like, get put through to retentions who are usually more willing to do a deal.

On the phone front - the n73 is a very nice phone, but I couldn't really get on with the menus, otherwise, the k800i is beginning to drop in price, so you may well be able to get it free

    Hope this helps,

    Dave
