Sabertooth X79 or Rampage IV Extreme

Hi All,

I'm looking to build a new PC desktop and I've settled on the i7-3930 6 core processor for this system. I'm looking to use it alot for heavy gaming (i.e. Crysis, Crysis 2, Skyrim ect) in the highest settings possible. Also I am getting into 3d rendering, hobby level. (i.e. Maya, 3ds Max, Poser, Blender, ect.) I think from the sound of it this processor is worth not spending the extra 500 bucks on for the next level up. And now the big question... Which motherboard might perform best for the buck in this case? is the R4 really worth the extra 100? or is the Sabertooth going to do the trick as well as keep the system cool when being run hard?

Also, is there another board or processor I should be looking at?
